That is what I thought but our numbers are so off that it didn't make sense. This site has a great web presence with high impressions and image impressions are much higher. Personally I use web search much more then image search and I imagine most other people do as well.

I would just title them according to their view type. Try to put your most informative words as close to the front as possible so that it's easy to read in browser tabs, for example: Red Widgets, All Widgets, <$25 Widgets... etc. Meta description could probably be a repeat of the title tag. Make the title as UX friendly as possible.

I was reading it as have a separate image sitemap thinking I needed 50 different sitemaps. This makes a lot more sense. Thank you.

I have taken a look at that and mine is set normal. I also checked Google and that is set to what they recommend.

Hi Niners, I wouldn't use subdomains for international website. Instead I'd use subfolders. Subdomains can be considered as totally separate websites, while using subfolders you "gather" the link juice in a more efficient way. But that is a personal opinion. Regarding your question: I'd create a profile in Google Webmasters Tools for each of the subdomains/subfolders Do not forget the international targeting for each of the profiles I would submit to each of these profiles it's own language based sitemap if you are talking about an international website, I'd consider using Hreflang markup. Check your settings in Screaming Frog for obeying robots.txt, obeying canonicals, etc. That might be your problem.

We have never done anything blackhat or spammy, but over time we have just acquired crappy links. We had a traffic drop when the first penguin was rolled out so we thought cleaning up some of the old crap would be a good idea.

Hi We use a company called Awin (Affiliate Window) in the UK and they are very good. As far as I am aware there is no two way affiliates, but the easiest way round it is, to set your self up as a publisher and advertiser. Its quite easy to do, and you could be up and running as an a publisher in minutes. Thanks Andy

Hi, If you have a lot of images and you need to speed up the indexing process then yes, it's worth adding an image xml sitemap. It also helps with the " image index managmenet" of those files. Long as you have the 301 redirects set up properly, you should be good. Bing webmaster tools has it's own "Site Move" feature but I'm not sure you need to use it.

I did exactly what you said but now I am running into this posted above- Yeah, Google Webmaster Tools is where I found the errors. When I implemented Schema it showed me with about 35,000 items, and about 9000 errors. I came in today and now my errors are almost gone, down to 600 but my total items dropped to 1600. I checked to see if any other code was removed and it wasn't, and ran the Bing Webmaster Tools Validator and it shows everything is correct. Why that drop?

We have seen these domains in audits that we have done as well. However we are also finding hundreds of spin offs of this - examples seekstone.cn and chinastonecompany.com. Like you we have been disavowing them but it would be great if somehow Google could flag up that they are aware of these domains and we don't need to worry about them.
