howdy SEO moz people,
I had a quick question about internal linking. I am using the WP platform for my website and on one of the widgets I have a category widget that shows all the pages, (on every page).
I wanted to know that when if i make a new post or page does it matter if the internal anchor texts are on the content itself or is it suffice to have it on the side bar within the widget?
Basically what im asking is does it matter if i have anchor text links on the content itself or is it ok to have it anywhere on the page. and if it does matter to have it on the content, please help out on any suggestions on where to place them. thanks
howdy people,
I had a quick question about keyword stuffing. I am creating a page on my website and on the page i am going to have multiple links, around 15 or so. they all have the word "pickup line" which will be hyperlinked to the respected page.
this page is going to serve as a sort of directory to all the various pick up lines, "cheesy", "funny", "dirty" etc.
I have written some content on this page as well. I wanted to know that since the keyword "pickup" line will be showing up a lot ( in hyper link form) will this be considered keyword stuffing? for this page
thanks for that alan, yea id like to see what other have to say about this as well, im all open ears!
hey moz peeps, got a general question:
what is the suggested custom crawl rate in google webmaster tools? or is it better to "Let Google determine my crawl rate (recommended)"
If you guys have any good suggestions on this and site why that would be very helpful, thanks guys!
Hi Moz peeps, google said that we should have two site maps...
one for google and one for people. Now i know having a site map to submit to google for the first time is important for SEO, but is having a site map for people visitng the site help at all in terms of google's bots crawling your site?
I know it might actually help human people navigate through your site, I just want to know if by not having it or having it affects on page SEO at all,
thanks guys
howdy, do curse words on your content article hurt SEO in any way or form?
and if so is there a "list" of registered curse keywords that should be avoided?
yea i understand that, but a pick up line isnt something you can copy wright, its like trying to copyright a joke. most pick up lines are cliche' and are ALL over the internet.
howdy, I have a basic question about using content found on other websites for your own use.
I have started a pick up lines website for guys to search for pickup lines to use on girls. Anyways, my website has many, if anything a lot, of the same exact pick up lines as all my competitors are using.
If I use the same pick up lines found on their site could i be penalized for this as far as SEO?
thanks and hope to hear back
