helps keep the non www version from getting indexed i believe even if you don't have the proper non www to www redirect in place.

Domain Name Acquisition
The only action I can think of is sending a letter to the po box. If the domain owner has an email address, they are not required to respond.

Can you 301 redirect a page to an already existing/old page ?
Hi Dana, If the page has incoming links from external sites I would 301 the page and keep the link juice (If it is similar content). However, if the page has no incoming links other then internal I would delete the page and I would also 404 the page in the robot.txt file. By doing this you actually spread more link juice on your existing pages. Link Juice in most cases spreads from the home page because people naturally link to it. The more pages you build on the site the more you spread that juice. However, many pages may have been deep linked to by users on your site giving those pages there own value, to avoid losing this value you can 301 the page. Hope this helps..

Colons and commas in title tags instead of hyphens and pipes ?
Thanks Irving I do ! For example i think this looks better title for say the clothes department of a girls store: Girls Clothes: Girls Dresses, Tops, Blouses & Coats | Girls Gift Shop Than this: Girls Clothes - Girls Dresses - Tops - Blouses - Coats | Girls Gift Shop What you think ?

Are plural & singular versions of keywords considered repeats ?
Thanks for your prompt reply Irving Ah so in case of two word kw phrases with plural and singular versions the issue is not the plural/singular versions but the repeat of the othe word in the phrase ? So would you recommend the title along the lines of: 'UK Centre Guide | Leisure Centres' ? & renaming url to: www.leisurecentres.com/uk-centre-guide And u think using kw twice in url is overusing it ? surely if content is on page use is justified ? This does make sense although the consequences of implementation would result in pages targeting these keywords not achieving many of the ticks (and high grade) on seomoz page/kw analyser wouldnt it ?

Will same language different region (US/UK) geotargeting via subdirectory (& GWT) cause dupe content or other issues ?
Couple more questions re this: Would you say its better to name the sub folder in accordance with lang/regional codes i.e. www.example.com/en-us/ or just us/ fine ? Since doesnt really matter and the GWT targeting settings and canonical and href tags added to the us targeted sites pages should be enough ? Also if you set the tags on the us focused subdirectory site and geotarget via GWT etc, should you do similarly on the standard site (a uk hosted .com primarily, but not exclusively, focusing on uk) with uk attributes OR fine to just leave as is (devoid of targeting information) ?

Best geotargeting strategy: Subdomains or subfolders or country specific domain
That isn't a domain at all - it's a sub-domain - what you've purchased there is yourdomain.uk.com - so your site is actually on a sub-domain of the domain uk.com I'm guessing that in theory you could geo-target via Webmaster Tools, however I think that in reality you might struggle to get the site to rank. It would also make for some pretty mixed up looking URLs - yourdomain.uk.com/fr/ - the UK in there might mean lower click through rates as the site looks primarily UK focused. I hope this helps, Hannah
