PPC vs Organic CTR
Hello,
I found two studies that seem to contradict themselves about PPC vs Organic CTR:
http://searchenginewatch.com/article/2200730/Organic-vs.-Paid-Search-Results-Organic-Wins-94-of-Time
http://brandongaille.com/google-organic-click-through-rate-statistics/ Which one is true?Thank you

OSE http or htps
Hello,
Is OSE making any difference when crawling the web between http or https links?
Will OSE show all links that point to my website regardless of them being http or https?
Thank you
Cornel
Note: The Label for the search bar is http.

RE: .co.uk domain with romanian content
I think/guess that most Romanians living in uk will search Romanian words on the google.co.uk .
This is what I do
because my browser has Google.co.uk as a default search engine.Cornel

.co.uk domain with romanian content
Hello,
I want to build a blog on a .co.uk domain that targets Romanians from uk.
The blog will be in Romanian.
What recommendation do you have regarding Google, should I submit the website to google.co.uk or google.ro.
Did you had any cases like this?

Http and https duplicate content?
Hello,
This is a quick one or two.

If I have a page accessible on http and https count as duplicate content?
What about external links pointing to my website to the http or https page.

Strange referral traffic
Hello,
We've 301 redirected our .com domain to .co.uk. A few dayes ago, I've started to get traffic from the .com domain to the hompage.
Any idea how this can happen?
-
100% New visits
-
Low bounce rate
-
80% of the referral traffic
Our website is www.theloanengine.co.uk
Any suggestions are welcomed.

RE: Rank page1 but not getting any clicks !!
Hi Jorenr,
One last thing: this will help you increase your CTR:

http://searchenginewatch.com/article/2049695/Top-Google-Result-Gets-36.4-of-Clicks-Study
I've tested it and it doubled my CTR.

RE: Request a 3rd party to change the URL to your site or 302 redirect it?
HI Adam,
Sending emails to your partners to changes their links is just a natural process after a 301 redirect.
No, Google wont find that spammy and it will increase your link juice, rankings etc.

RE: Rank page1 but not getting any clicks !!
Hi Malcolm,
You are right and the second position gets only ~12%.
Than means less than 160 visits a month.

RE: Rank page1 but not getting any clicks !!
Hi Jorenr,
1,300 (exact match) for 'some' keywords is not a lot and it can be volatile.
The best place to start debugging is Webmaster Tools > Traffic > Search Queries.
Here you can see if your website has been displayed, how many times, on what keywords, on what position and the CTR of your results.
Please check this and let me know the results.

RE: Two websites with similar products
Hi Bilal,
A 301 redirect is not spammy, but why do you want to do it?

RE: Next Google Index..?
Hi Keri,
And as far as I know there isn't a date when they update their SERP for all website at once. Each website is individually crawled and they update the SERP individually for each website as quickly as they can.
And for this reason they've introduced 'Fetch as Google', speed and freshness.
If it was a weekly or even a daily update of the SERP we will lose the daily news.
Thank you for your reply Keri
