Are you still seeing success with EMD's?
I am curious if any other SEO's are still seeing success with exact matching domains.
I am not seeing ANY changes to any of my clients rankings since the "Exact Match Domain" filter came about in September.
Also while I have conducted SERP audits in my neck of the woods I am noticing EMD's are still doing very well.
What are you seeing?

RE: Google + Local Pages
This is a post from Blumenthal on the subject --> http://blumenthals.com/blog/2012/08/03/step-by-step-guide-to-the-google-businesslocal-merge-verification-process/
This is from Google Product Forums --> http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!category-topic/business/cLdShAg9xYs[1-25-false]
In short yes, I have found you will need to create seperate pages for each location. This is a pain in my opinion and is something I wish G+ would clean up.

RE: Has anyone had luck doing SEO with a wordpress website built with Parallax?
A local Wordpress developer friend of mine had tried using the Parallax theme. Halfway through the project he stopped due to how hard of a theme it was to hack, I believe he later used a Genesis Theme.
When it comes to the structure of the theme it does not seem to be the most SEO friendly. Though I have no personal experience with it I would advise against it.

RE: PR Releases? Do they help your SEO?
Personally I would only use the PR strategy if it were for PR purposes (imagine that). For instance if your company has made a notable partnership with a vendor, landed a large contract, or has done something noteworthy in the community then it would be sufficient to push a PR piece.
My interpretation of Cutts' statement on this topic is that a PR/Article will not be a very noteworthy citation.
For my clients the efforts that we would put into a PR piece we are now allotting into a content marketing push with being featured on a guest blog or onto our blog or social channels.
I hope this helps...

What was the biggest challenge you faced as an SEO in 2012?
As an SEO (in-house, freelance, consultant, agency, entrepreneur) what was the biggest challenge you faced in 2012? Please be as specific as you can, and let us all know what you are doing to overcome this challenge in 2013.
For me personally I would have to say the biggest challenge I had to deal with was Google+ Local. Obviously Google is putting a lot into G+L, but it has been so messy and at times I have just thrown my arms up in the air. Especially when it comes to multi-state locations and losing reviews.

When I am not busy promoting my clients webpages and performing marketing audits, I can be found spending quality time with my family and friends listening to Indie Rock, while breathing in the fresh air of the mountains scattered along Utah.
