I have a client that I am doing web-work for...I recommended for him to claim his Facebook Place page as well as create a twitter account. He's a little skeptical and doesn't think that a doctors office needs a Facebook and twitter page. I strongly disagree with him and would like to show him some facts. Has anyone ever done social media for a doctors office before or know where I can get some good information?

Thanks to EVERYONE who gave me their 2 cents. I first heard of the ".co" when I saw a commercial for Overstock.co. It's interesting that they would start using this. I think that that says something. Now I'm not saying it will replace the .com but it's something to consider when a company like OverStock makes a .co purchase and campaign. Thanks to everyone! I'll be sure to post anymore info I read about it!

Anyone have any suggestions?  Looking for something that allows me to set up Twtitter, Facebook and Youtube videos and set specific dates to make posting live.

I'm searching for a tool that will allow me to embed multiple twitter feeds into a "twitter ticker" type box. Similar to how http://www.xxlmag.com/ "tweets is watchin" section. I'm not even sure what exactly this is called, but I'm sure there is a tool out there for it somewhere. Any idea?!

Do you use all in one seo plugin for the pages or for each blog post? I never really likes All in One Seo because it seemed to redundant to have to enter in additional information for each blog post. Maybe I am using it incorrectly, everyone seems to swear by it.

I just started helping out a friends local salon and spa business and they have about 500 plus "likes" on their fackbook page...however I just was looking into facebook "deals" which is only for facebook places page. I'm trying to decide if I should start converting everything over to a Places page because I feel like they would get more benefit from it (check ins, deals, etc).  Would you agree?
