That is exactly correct. Searchers are not using symbols in their search, so it's much more practical to optimize for 3/4, 1/2, or half inch (as the keyword research suggests) rather than these fractional symbols because they are impossible (?) for users to generate using a standard keyboard. Especially if products are unusual sizes like 8/11 or 3/16.

RE: How does Google handle fractions in titles?
Ok, so I ran a quick test and have an answer for anyone interested.
¾ is not equal to 3/4.
If the user searches for 3/4, Google will not return results with ¾.
However, if the user searches for ¾, Google will return results with ¾.
Hope this helps!

We have many similar i.e. 3/4, 5/8, 11/16, etc.

How does Google handle fractions in titles?
Which is better practice, using 1/2" or ½"?
The keyword research suggests people search for "1 2" with the space being the "/".
How does Google handle fractions? Would ½ be the same as 1/2?

RE: Using Moz Local to update Factual data
Hi Sam and thanks for the response. I am still unclear whether or not my local business info will be updated in Factual if I purchase Moz Local service. Can you please answer this question?

Using Moz Local to update Factual data
As you may know, for a couple of months now, Factual has been having trouble ingesting the data into their network. This is apparent to other Trusted Data Contributors of Factual.
Is the Moz Local team experiencing similar problems getting business listings added or updated, or can I be assured my local business info will be updated in Factual if I purchase Moz Local service?

Index, follow on a paginated page with a different rel=canonical URL
Hello,
I have a question about meta robots ="index, follow" and rel=canonical on category page pagination.
Should the sorted page be <meta name="robots" content="index,follow"></meta name="robots" content="index, follow"> since the rel="canonical" is pointing to a separate page that is different from the URL?
Any thoughts on this topic would be awesome. Thanks.
Main Category Page
https://www.site.com/category/
<meta name="robots" content="index,follow"><link rel="canonical" href="https: www.site.com="" category="" "=""></link rel="canonical" href="https:></meta name="robots" content="index,follow">Sorted Page
https://www.site.com/category/?p=2&dir=asc&order=name
<meta name="robots" content="index, follow"=""><link rel="canonical" href="https: www.site.com="" category="" ?p="2""></link rel="canonical" href="https:></meta name="robots" content="index,>As you can see, the meta robots is telling Google to index https://www.site.com/category/?p=2&dir=asc&order=name , yet saying the canonical page is https://www.site.com/category/?p=2 .

Does Moz Local update/correct business listings?
Moz Local distributes your business listing to the important data providers, but what if your business information is already in their database? Does Moz Local update this info for me, or am I still required to go through the manual process of doing this myself on the data providers website (for example, Yelp or Hotfrog)?

RE: How many images should I use in structured data for a product?
Answer: For best results, provide multiple high-resolution images (minimum of 50K pixels when multiplying width and height) with the following aspect ratios: 16x9, 4x3, and 1x1. Source: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/product

How many images should I use in structured data for a product?
We have a basic printing website that offers business cards. Each type of business card has a few product images. Should we use structured data for all the images, or just the main image?
What is your opinion about this? Thanks in advance.

RE: Tool to Check Bing Index?
Specific feature? I thought that was clearly stated in the question -- I want to check the index. The tool should let me check a list of random URLs against the Bing index.

Tool to Check Bing Index?
Anyone know of a tool to automate checking the Bing index? To check Google's index, I use URL Profiler but there is no option to check Bing.

How to rank a page on established site quickly
Hi,
I'm looking for information about how I can rank an e-commerce category page quickly from a link building perspective. It usually takes me 6-12 months to rank these pages within the top 3 spots with link building, but I would like to get results faster. My site is established for more than 10 years and performs well in Google organic search.
Here is what usually works over a 6-12 month time span:
- 15-40 links within articles on DA 15-60 sites, built within 6-12 months
- More than 75% of the links are from blogs
- Variety of anchor text
- Combination of follow/nofollow
- Deep links to product pages within the category we're trying to rank
- Might be important to note that it was easy for us to get category pages listed in DMOZ categories, when it was still around but it didn't seem to play any role in getting ranked faster.
Note: We only build links on real sites with real traffic and decent performance metrics. No PBNs or other crap sites.
I'd sincerely appreciate it if anyone can make any suggestions or point me towards helpful info.
Thanks!

Moz's New Video Ads on YouTube
I've enjoyed Moz's new video ads and want to share them with colleagues, however am unable to find the vids anywhere other than when they're delivered before a video plays on YouTube. Are they available on demand?
If anyone is unfamiliar with the videos I speak of, they are new ads for Moz products like Keyword Explorer, Mozbar, and MozCon.
Thanks in advance!

Re-marketing to my competition's visitors?
How can I advertise to people that have visited my competitor's website? I won't be able to set a pixel or cookies, and would like to know if this is possible.

RE: Does a non-canonical URL pass link juice?
Thanks for answering, Cyrus! Will Open Site Explorer treat URL B as a new linking root domain and will it influence my DA? Just curious. Kind regards!
