Is it possible to rank for street name searches?
Oh, that's very kind of you to say, Chad. It's always my pleasure! Seems like you've got some great opportunities ahead for some interesting content dev.

Should I Use WooCommerce Tags & Attributes?
Hi Justin, Sorry for the late reply here. Yes, I likely would do that. As long as the site categories are set up properly, you shouldn't require any product attribute pages to make a product discoverable for Googlebot. And the pa_ attribute pages tend to make for a poor landing page experience. If a product/attribute combination is especially important or profitable, I'd usually set up a custom landing page for that, rather than rely on the product attribute archive pages.

How to Best Optimize for Multiple Cities and Services Areas?
Happy New Year to you, Chad! So, typically, here's how you do a service area business: You create a set of pages for the services offered. If the business is physically located in a good city, you can incorporate this into the optimization of these pages, but the main focus of these pages is the services being offered (plumbing, HVAC, etc). You create a second set of pages for the MOST important cities the business serves. You don't create a page for every possible city, but just for the ones that are really key to the business. The content on these pages can summarize the menu of services offered, but the main focus is on the company's work in that city. A good way to approach the 'meat' of this content is UGC including testimonials and reviews (including video reviews) in that city. You can also include videos of projects being accomplished in those cities, with text descriptions. In this way, you have two distinct sets of pages (an no duplicate content) that cover all of your services and your major cities. The main feat here is to educate the clients as to the importance of assembling enough material to make these pages really strong instead of weak. They shouldn't just be thrown together. They should be templated, carefully planned, well written and very engaging to consumers. There are other possible approaches, but this is the one I'd typically recommend. Hope this helps!

Why Does This Site Rank Well?
I just now found this conversation and I want to commend Travis for digging in. Some other things to consider: Age of the domain and also of the local campaign. If Lifepoint got an earlier 'start' on the web than Sylvania, this could have something to do with it. It does not look like an industry centroid is at play here, because both churches seem fairly equally distant to what I see as the cluster for 'churches in tyler tx' Could Sylvania have any negative issues like duplicate listings that could hold them back? How Do I Get Rel=Author to Work Via Wordpress SEO by Yoast?
Hi Chad, I'm glad your question was answered! Would you kindly mark the most helpful responses you received in this thread as "good answers"? To answer your last question, bylines contain the name of the author of a story, and sometimes the date published and category. For example, in this post on The Moz Blog, Are You Setting up Wordpress for SEO Success, the byline is "May 7th, 2012 - Posted by Dan Shure to On-Page / Site Optimization". Bylines are most appropriate for blog posts, news article, editorials, and feature stories. Bylines should not go on press releases, product/service pages, nor sales pages. I peeked at your site, and didn't see any content piece that looked like it should have a byline. If you add a blog to your site with Wordpress, bylines will be enabled by default. Hope this helps, and best of luck! Christy
