How can I maintain my website's authroity if I change the domain name?
They are defiantly related Dan. Site A is for Primary Care Physicians. Site B is for Clinical Geriatrics which is a part of the whole Primary Care Market. Family doctors are always interested in the elderly. I just need to know what will happen to site B and its Domain Authority if I change the domain name and then add a bunch more content (about 2,000 urls). With the Change will I lose much of my 58 DA? Thanks, Jeff

Ads and their relatonship to Domain Aurthority
Thanks, While agree with your thinking, I was more specifically thinking about how in tune it would be with Google's Quality Guidelines. We publish information for Doctors, its very clinical. We never get much in the way of likes or shares with this community. In fact we are struggling with time on site as well, since all of our websites support print product where doctors seem (gulp) to have a preference. Thanks for your consideration and I agree with your assessment as well. Regards, Jeff Strassman

I started a Wordpress blog, google indexed it...
This usually happens after 1-2 months and it really depends on the amount of links you have. SEOmoz usually update Open Site Explorer every month and if we are lucky twice a month. You can check the calendar here: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/345964-linkscape-update-schedule The last one was I believe in the last week of December. Good luck!
