Francise Space: How to handle Duplicate Content?
agreed, so you can fix this by simply making the content on your site unique and now your previous content is the one that the current and future franchises should be using.

Too Many On-Page Links
First of all, do not, I repeat DO NOT nofollow your own internal pages. Doing so will not result in your other links getting more link value, but will result in link juice evaporation: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/google-maybe-changes-how-the-pagerank-algorithm-handles-nofollow If don't want to divide your link equity, the best solution is to simply remove the link. I would encourage you to install a tool such as CrazyEgg or ClickTale that will show you exactly how your users are using your site. Chances are they are not clicking on many of those footer links. Based on that click data, remove the links that aren't being clicked on. Also, having a few more links than what SEOMoz recommends is not the end of the world, especially for a high Domain Authority site like yours.

Anyone used this service before? - Organic Content Distribution
Looks like they don't watch their own site very well (see all the viagra, laser removal and everything else in the comment section). I believe a company "selling" content services, but don't monitor what is on there site could be a sign not to use them.

Press Release and Duplicate Content
Not sure of the technical answer. I'll leave it to others. But why not publish slightly different versions on the company site and the press release site (unless there is a compliance or disclosure issue.) Verbatim press releases on company websites often disrespect readers by including things best avoided: a hyperlink to a site people are already on an "about XYX company" that duplicates material already on the site boring, label-like headline wording done for SEO purposes, or to comply with the "news hook" requirement from some PR distribution sites If I read one more press release headlined "XYZ Company Announces Launch of Super-Duper Widget" I'm gonna scream. IMHO, best practice is to produce a slightly different version for the website. Failing that, you can just summarize the news release and link to it on the press release site.

URL and Meta Description are gone
Do you know if that page is cached or if there's a nocache tag on the page ? I have seen some of those scenarios in the past. In my opinion, that should be the reason.

Sitelink Disappeared from SERPs
What I call a RollBack is when Google goes back in the Past in terms of ranking. It happens sometimes when they run a new Algorithm or changes. They show older results in some datacenters while updated in others.
