Seomoz.org Category and Tags practice
Thanks for the complete answer! I also have an old site with around 1000 posts and also around 4000 products and just use categories. It is quite difficult to arrange everything and I was wondering how do you do it. In fact you just have categories in sidebar and then "sections" in the main menu so user can nav in your site. As I see it, the important thing is usability and easing the navigation. "urls" dont mind so much. Thanks again

Reviews and multimedia in subfolders
IMO I would keep all of the content on one page, that way you are creating one (hopefully) great, unique content filled product page, instead of watering it down with a number of weaker pages per product.

SEO for Log in Sites
Password protected content in most cases is not indexed in the search engines. Having all the content behind the signup wall can be a barrier for you to rank for keywords in your niche. However, that does not limits you to rank since modern SEO is not just based on the on page content. There are multiple factors that influence rankings in 2011 such as site accessibility, content, backlinks, social media, online reputation, local seo, LDA, search protocol usage and more. Rank recently wrote a blog post on the responsibilities of SEO in 2011 and it is worth reading.

How rel=canonical works with index, noindex ?
Antonio, I came into this question a little late so I'm not sure how it was back when you asked it, but right now the problem I see is that the page that does exist ( http://www.comparativadebancos.com/mejores-depositos-bancarios-de-marzo-de-2011/ ) has a rel canonical tag pointing to the page that doesn't exist ( http://www.comparativadebancos.com/depositos/marzo/ ), which returns a 404 response code. I think right now the best thing you can do would be to change the rel canonical tag on /mejores-depositos-bancarios-de-marzo-de-2011/ to be http://www.comparativadebancos.com/mejores-depositos-bancarios-de-marzo-de-2011/ .

Detailed Revisions of Articles coexisting with Automated Description Articles
Ok. I had always wondered how the index, noindes affects to the canonical. And also if the canonical post should be included in the sitemap or not (I think that not according to your last whiteboard friday but again not sure). Per instance, I published the following post this morning checking what you said http://www.comparativadebancos.com/mejores-depositos-bancarios-de-marzo-de-2011/ and with a rel=canonical to this that was published at the beginning of the month http://www.comparativadebancos.com/depositos/marzo/ but then I have the first one in google http://www.google.com/search?aq=f&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=mejores+depositos+bancarios+marzo+2011 Currently I rank very well for the reviews, so dont know what will happen with the canonical. Thanks for your answers!
