Hi,
I'm not aware of individual video tutorials for tools but they do have an excellent webinar series
where they go over the tools and you can ask live questions.
Go here: http://www.seomoz.org/dp/welcome-webinars
You will also see a recorded webinar at the bottom of this page.

I was thinking about adding punchtab.com's gamification application to my blog
to get more people to share my content.
I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the web app?
I would definitely change the hosting before you launch the redesign.
That way you can get through any complications with a new host. When the
redesign is ready you can launch it quickly.

In my experience no.
Two numbers for one business just doesn't work. When I've tried to implement this I've had trouble:
A) Getting all the NAPs to match and its not easy to get that done with just one number.
B) Convincing the client to put anything but their business number on their website.
1. Create content that will make your users to beg for more ( Create Content For Real Users )
2. Give away information Note: I'm not a huge fan of discounting because of the bad pattern it starts with the customer
3. Use Capture Pages/ Landing Pages to boost the perceived value of getting on your list
4. Constantly ask people to subscribe
5. Run a competition
6. Run a Promotion
Answering you question above I would say that running competition's/giving stuff away won't necessarily help your conversions in your list for that you need to optimize the copy in the email you send out.
You definitely can use your home address. I work at home and have a Google places account for my business. As far as loopholes go I don't know of any. You have to do standard optimization for you account with citations and reviews.
My favorites are Share Bar and Smart Youtube PRO. Otherwise we are pretty much on the same page.
