We've had clients that have used most of same - Ultimate I think is the most used but Yoast is like #2.... They're all about the same - made for folks in the WP world who just aint coders....they do make ok title and meta desc changes...but lack any real 'go-for-it' tactical strengths.... Wouldn't recommend any of them, really....so much easier to code in php for your own usages....

Flat rate, and charge an hourly rate for setting up additional ad groups and tie in the reporting.  We try to keep the client's money in their pocket and just charge for a reasonable amount of effort.  That seems to work well for both clients who spend $10,000/month and those that spend $1,000/mo on PPC.

If the site was submitted, and its already in effect, you will have to wait and see if there is any negative linking. You will not be able to disavow any URL's until you know about them. At the same time, Google isn't stupid. If this was all that it took to bring down a website in ranking, people would be using it daily on their competitor's URLs. What I am trying to say is: wait and see. A one time submission is probably not going to make or break you in any way. If you were submitting daily pings, and had a track record of being a spammy site, then I would think otherwise.

Google doesn't always tell you when you when they take action on a site.  It could have been some minor algorithm tweak that put you over the edge in some capacity.  We took over two clients who had a massive amount of linking between their own websites.  This randomly caused a penalty.  I'm 99% sure this is the cause because removing them fixed it, putting them back broke it again and removing it the final time fixed it for good. Maybe look at your link profile for excessive site wides, or any over optimization.

Wow, thanks so much everyone.  Sorry, emails didn't come through indicating that there were responses or I would have gotten back sooner. I do not have a URL yet - site is still in development by another agency.  The structure is pretty set, but I do want to be able to manage expectations.  We will work on creating a blog that we can use for additional pages (possibly part blog, part full pages to target keywords). So, it looks like it's not going to kill us, but it's not going to do us any favors either.  thanks so much for your help.
