Schema.org wrong display in SERP
Google testing tool seems to be showing a Software Application schema but not the reviews. When I pull out just the review source code, it's saying that the item being reviewed is missing. Honestly, though, trouble-shooting these can be tricky sometimes. I'd check the tool, though, and just take a look at the errors: https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/ It is possible to have the schema correct and still not get reviews, though, if Google simply decides not to display reviews for that SERP. I'm not seeing anyone with reviews for the first give pages of that query, so that's a solid sign that this may be more than just mark-up. Google seems to ramp up and scale back which queries get reviews all the time, and there's no way to track that (other than their presence/absence). Most you can do is double-check the code and hope for the best. Sorry, I know that's not a very satisfying answer.

Is media Outreach over?
Hi, thanks a lot for your inputs. I'm an external SEO for couple of companies and elaborate their SEO strategies. Most of my clients are small software editors, they're struggling to get media attention and building high quality content is a huge investment. Loosing a 50 Domain Authority link because the media changed its business model is a huge loss for them. I was wondering how other SEO guys were handling that. If you continue to target those medias? They still have a huge audience, but we loose the linking benefit.

Is Snip.ly bad for SEO?
I know that this is an old question but I just started using Snip as well and I want to know, are you still using it? How has it affected your SEO? I read the info on the link too but I am still curious. OR has anyone used it long enough to know how this can affect SEO? Thanks in advance.

Order and multiple match when 301 redirect ?
Apache reads the .htaccess from top to bottom, so it's good to keep that in mind. If I had to guess, I'd say you have more 301s than just those in your .htaccess. A rule above that is likely conflicting with that specific redirect. If you have a rule redirecting everything from that subdirectory without the French URL parameter, and it's before the rule in question, then this rule will never catch anything.
