Reciprocal Link Exchanges?

I have a spanky new website with absolutely no incoming links at all.  Someone suggested a link exchange site (LinkMarket.com).  But I thought that doing reciprocal links was being penalized by Google.

Does anyone know if link exchange works, and if so, what the best link exchange sites are?

Hi,

There's lots and lots of info (suggestions, views, opinions etc) in lots of threads on here already.

Just do some searches and you'll find a whole lot of stuff.

Hey Dan,

Go for links from websites that relate to your industry. It takes more time but it will prove much more valuable in the long run.
