      Hi guys,

I have a question about adding keywords found directly from a keyword tool onto a webpage. I see a keyword opportunity from Moz's Keyword Explorer, for example, "dog giardia treatment natural" and was wondering if it should be worked into the page exactly in that order? For example, I've modified the question on the page to now read "Are there any other dog Giardia treatments that are natural?" Is this good practice? Should it be exactly in the order of the keyword found in the tool? Is what I've done too spammy?

      Appreciate any help!

      Thanks

A keyword, in the context of search engine optimization, is a particular word or phrase that describes the contents of a Web page. So when we talk about a keyword we actually refer to a word or phrase.

Talking about your case, if you selected a specific keyword you should follow the standard guidelines to optimize a page

        • Insert it in the H1
        • Title Tag
        • Meta Description

If you are using Moz the best way to evaluate the optimization for a single keyword is using the On-Page Grader Tools. Just need to enter the URL and the keyword that you want to evaluate.

When you evaluate a keyword, the first thing that you need to do is forget about numbers, tables, and data, the first and more important question that you need to answer is, why a user is searching for this particular keyword? what is the main user intent? That is exactly what Google is looking for Let's look an example

        • dentist tampa -- Volume 10
        • tampa dentist florida -- Volume 20
        • cosmetic dentist on tampa -- Volume 30

There are 3 keywords, but for Google is the same intent, that means 60 persons are looking for a dentist on Tampa Florida. Google will try to give them the best possible answer to that question. So need to keep in mind when you optimize your pages.
