I am trying to understand why a website would use # instead of a ? for its parameters? I have put an example of the URL below:

      http://www.warehousestationery.co.nz/office-supplies/adhesives-tapes-and-fastenings#prefn1=brand&prefn2=colour&prefv1=Command&prefv2=Clear

Any help would be much appreciated.

      • Hi, we are wanting to test a new version of one particular page on our website. What's the best way to run a test for a week without harming rankings. Do we use a 302 redirect or direct 100% of traffic using a tool like Optimizely?

      • Ideally should a 301 or 302 redirect be used from https://www.site.com to http://www.site.com? Is there a valid reason to use a 302 in this situation or would using a 301 have any negative impact on seo?
