Tips on How to Optimize a Forum

Hi, I am looking for some good tips and tricks on how to get the most of a vBulletin Forum, we already got vbseo.com which works quite nice for text/titles and many other stuff, but it would be great to know some insights on optimizing this kind of forums or any other forum.

Hi Alan, very useful resources indeed, so far some of my favorite tips from there are:

• Creating extra html pages

• Restricting the non valuable PHP files

• And improving page speed

Is there any equivalent SEO add-on for phpBB3 that people here have used and liked? A quick search shows quite a few out there, some with extremely complex installation instructions, so it'd be great to learn what you guys out there have found to work.
