Tips for Marketing a News Product?

We recently launched a news product on our site, and it has been accepted into Google News. We're also applying to Bing & Yahoo. We promote our news on all social networks (FB, Twitter, Reddit, etc). Apart from this, we're wondering if anyone has any additional tips for spreading the word about our news product?

Especially sites, like Alltop or Technorati that we should be submitting our site / feed to. Any additional tips appreciated!
