Crunchbase - How much does it improve a company's SEO?

I am looking to create a CrunchBase profile for the tech company I work for and I'm wondering if anyone has any feedback for how helpful creating a CrunchBase profile is to enhance a company's SEO?  Have you found the site helpful for marketing your company?

I don't have personal experience with Crunchbase, but company profile pages do have links to the companies' websites, which is certainly a good thing.

Hi Sara,

They are definitely beneficial when added correctly. For instance, I've added one here for a site I help run: http://www.crunchbase.com/company/swish-plastic.

My recommendations:

1. Fill it out as completely as you can
2. Link to other social profiles/pages in the External Links section
3. Add links to your blog and homepage

It doesn't take that long, and you get a number of links from an authority domain.
