You should be skeptical and cautious. There is not such a thing as easy backlinks... and can guarantee you that even if they were to accomplish whatever many links they say you can get in one hour... it will end up hurting more than helping.

Their website and service seems down, so looks like you don't have a choice either way.

I do remember seeing the website when it was up. They are blog comments from ScrapeBox. This is not a good backlink building strategy, and I'd strongly recommend not using them.

I recall a post in /r/SEO about a case study, and there weren't any positive results. Keep in mind this was pre-Panda. I would imagine ordering a service like this would be playing with fire.

              Hi Alex,

You should absolutely stay away from that - it's high numbers of extremely low quality links, which are more likely to harm your internet marketing campaign than create any benefit.

Instead, spend your time on budget chasing high quality links in fewer numbers, particularly using content-based approaches such as infographics, guest blogs and linkbait on your own website.

If you'd like to undertake this kind of backlink campaign just let me know and I'll post some excellent articles for you to have a read of on link-building and content creation.

                The actual site is OneHourBacklinks.com.

It is a VERY easy source for backlinks and you get exactly what you'd expect.  Blog comments served up as you want (indexed, dofollow, PR).

Regardless of what the white hat guys say, these links still work great if used correctly.  But that's the key.

Don't build thousands of these a day to your money site.  Instead, do a few blasts and then point it towards your feeder links/tiers to boost those up.  Also, in this post-Penguin world it is very important to keep your keywords focused on topic instead of one or two words.

And, like others have alluded to, mix in high quality links too.  An entire book could be written on this, but the synopsis is:  tons of link types, all range of link quality, 50 different anchors instead of 5.

There are TONS of case studies of blog comments ranking terms alone.  I wouldn't suggest it as a long term strategy, but to say they don't work is disingenuous.

                    Disclaimer: Justin Anderson owns OneHourBacklinks.com.

Somehow when he shows up, negative opinions of OHB get downvoted. So Justin, what's wrong with discussion and personal experience? If you mean for us to take your claims seriously, I would have thought you would provide a case study or answer our qualms instead of downvoting everyone.

No offense. Really cool web design, by the way.

Not sure what the policy is here on linking out to other forums as I don't come here often.  And i'd down vote anything that is factually incorrect.  Arguing is fine, but sharing disinformation based upon the echo chamber really helps no one.

I know buying links is frowned upon by many, but it works amazingly well.  In fact, post-Penguin blog comments work even better than before.

There is an unaffiliate WSO launched that ranked youtube videos in under 24 hours using just OneHourBacklinks.com.  Ryan Deiss at the Traffic and Conversion seminar (and in their private membership area) use this as a central ranking method for all of their clients and e-business students.

We didn't know who either was prior to their announcements and they both showed extensive proof.  And neither is an affiliate - these links just work.

Again, I don't recommend this as the exclusive link building method (even though they do).

                        Hi Justin,

Can you let us know how one can opt-out of being on your list of targeted sites? I do believe many people would find it useful to not have to manually reject such gems as the following comment spintax that was on the homepage:

                        "{lackluster|boring}... I miss your {tremendous|super|great} {posts|articles|writing}. Past {few|several} posts are just {a little bit|a little|a bit} out of track!"

As many of the comments here note, any link schemes like this where dollars are exchanged for links directly are dangerous. We've seen Google pursue link methods like this aggressively - Penguin, the blog network bans, the banning of iAcquire for their link network, etc.

Some folks here note that they do work in the short term - that's true. Just don't use it for any site/brand you care about long term or for which you don't have high risk tolerance.

Turn off auto-approve comments.  We only post to sites that allow it by default.

I'm not a fan of trying to spam sites to get links.

I know this is an old thread, but I recently tried a free trial of one hour backlinks and tested it one of the many blogs/sites I run purely for testing.

Interestingly, the links were quickly crawled by SEOmoz and appeared in opensiteexplorer after only a few weeks. These seemed to marginally improve domain authority.

Whether or not it "works" though (i.e. improves organic traffic) I can't say as my trial wasn't targetted at a specific keyword. I was just interested in the type of links generated, and I have to say that I didn't appeciate all of the links on porn sites that were generated. Can you imagine explaining that to a client?

It would be nice if links like these didn't appear in opensiteexplorer, they can't really correlate with rankings can they?
