        Hey Man

These may work for a while or if you are starting out with a new site but... you are essentially creating weak content and spamming article marketing sites with the intention of boosting your rankings.

It's hardly an approach with any longevity or an ethical front to it, not to say it won't work some for a small business in a non competitive niche.

A way I have used articles in the past is to create a fully singing and dancing article on the actual site itself, something that really solves some of the prospects problems and then create good quality satellite articles to summarise the article or tackle smaller parts of it and link back to the main article. Most article sites allow you to add two links so create one for your keyword (vary it though - add brand name etc) and one back to the main article you are promoting.

Slightly different to this silver bullet approach but my experience of these services is that they create awful content, then spin that into downright drudge, and then spam the article directories which have little to no editorial control to get the links up. Historically, this could work to some extent but it is not the way to do things with an eye on the long term.

Additionally, post the panda update the article sites are getting less traction and value so it's a weak approach that is getting weaker. If your link profile ends up being dominated by this kind of dirge then it may have a negative affect long term.

Googles eyes are on weak content, if I was you,  I would give this a miss and concentrate on building less volume but more quality links.

        Hope it helps!
        Marcus

To add another perspective to it:

I have used buidlmyrank.com. I would say that one of the only saving graces about it is that you can create your own content, submit it to them, and they will post it on a PR 1 - 4 website with a backlink to your site. So like Marcus said its great for brand new PR 0, PA 1 sites. They allow 1 backlink per 150 words.

They also promote that if you want them to create content for you they can do it at $2.50 per 150 words / backlink. Needless to say the article is definitely worth just that. If you have great content post it on your own site and maybe consider hiring a copywriter to write an article about you then submit to buildmyrank. By all means please don't use this as your sole link building service as it won't get you very far in the long run. Consider high level directories like Yahoo, Best of the Web, DMOZ (good luck) and Business.com, and of course great content to get natural and earned links / citations. Enjoy 🙂
