If you're able to score just as many links as you think you can over time the top-level domain shouldn't matter. Overall you're likely better off picking a .com name as it's more common but in itself the impact or difference in a TLD is minimal. It surely shouldn't be the only reason in my opinion on why you would want to switch TLDs as that process will likely hurt SEO more.

Hello, I think i have the same problem.  I launched my site for a long time and created many backlinks, however, there are only 2 links found by moz.  I also did as Moz suggested to add the links to the Link Tracking List, but it did not work for either Can anyone help us to get backlinks indexed or give me some tips on how long will they be indexed? Any comments by return will be appreciated!
