  • Correct, thanks for that correction. I do not think this would be considered blackhat.

  • I haven't worked in that vertical so I'm not entirely sure what triggers these particular snippets. But here's a little more from Google about the subject. I managed to get them to show up by searching 'ticketmaster events'. Though the results were definitely skewed toward my location. At any rate, look at how Ticketmaster marks up their pages. View the src, hit ctrl+f (if you're using Chrome - I don't use any other browser, unless I'm doing some cross browser tests.) and enter 'itemprop'. That will take you directly to the markup. Seriously, if you don't do this - you're missing out.

  • Thanks for the responses! I'm not afraid of the work, but to tackle each market is going to take a lot of resources to do effectively, which I don't have. I think I'm going to have to choose the top markets, work on as many of them as I can and work my way down to the smaller ones. I like the infographic idea. I think that can work well for what I'm trying to do. Reaching out to travel bloggers in each market is another good one, if my budget allows for it. Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

  • Hello Martin, we are so sorry about the trouble you are having with keywords during the campaign creation process. Try skipping that step, and going into the Campaign Settings and adding the keywords afterwards. Does this work? If not, please write to help@Moz.com and ask fro Abe, so I can dig into this a bit further without us having to share private account info on this forum.

  • Hi Ruben, In my childhood in my neighborhood there used to be a respected old man who would say: "When you have a problem go on the roof and cry aloud so that somebody could come to your help." So i cried here in the MoZ Community to find solution for me but could not. As far your query MoZ must provide urgent ticket posting option to users where users could get an instant reply from MoZ team.Posting a query through mail to MoZ an waiting for the reply is like a hell. Second there must be resources on explaining various MoZ reports in detail. This is how I think. Hope make some sense for you.

  • Martin, Thank you for the reply, that sounds great. It seemed like the most recent index came a few weeks early (was listed as Oct 1st) and the next one is scheduled about a month out which seems like forever when you're trying to see what progress you've made, but as you mentioned, it is a ton of data to sort through on your end so definitely understand the challenges. Will be great if the next update allows for index updates on a more frequent basis and additional insights, definitely looking forward to it. Thanks again. Kyle

  • Could you use Mozscape to check for links to the three sites from the 50 domains? E.g. you could look at who links to three sites and filter out your fifty?: http://moz.com/products/api/pricing Otherwise, you could run multiple Xenu reports and leave them ticking over?

  • _Definitely _don't create any duplicate content here. I think you're on the right track, though: create some navigation pages that are optimized for unbranded search, and use those as an alternative way to find product pages, beyond just the original branded way. Good luck! Kristina

  • Do you see links reported in GWMT for both versions? In our case there are no links reported for the non-www site. (www is canonical). If you see links on both sites, I would disavow both just to be safe.

  • Hi there, The good news is that you're not the only one! As of this post from Woorank in Google Product Forums, their links are apparently no-followed and you can contact them to have them manually removed: All of our links have nofollow attributes, so it is odd that you would get so many showing in your Google Webmaster tools. We'll certainly be checking into this further. In the meanwhile, please send an email to support(at)woorank(dot)com with your website address and a request to remove the link and we will be happy to comply. Source It looks like other Mozzers have had this issue too. Apparently Woorank do have a process where you can get the links removed, so I would try that first. I also have a suspicion that as so many webmasters are reporting a large amount of links from Woorank, Google is _hopefully _ignoring them. John Mu confirmed that they ignore UpDowner, so I wouldn't be surprised to hear they ignore Woorank too. Hope this helps.

  • You must list a physical address.  If you provide service at their customer's location then you can use your home address. Here, you have the option to hide your address (if do not want to show it to public). You can get more info here-  Google Places Quality Guidelines You may also find this link helpful- http://moz.com/community/q/google-local-listing-no-physical-address

  • I know it's old question but, serpwoo is probably the best KW tracker and niche tracker on the market. For $25 it gives 200 KWs, which is very good in my opinion. But the best thing about them is data they are providing (and the way they are providing it), a lot of insights without need to check other tools (time saving). All TOP20 results are shown on one diagram, you can watch websites gaining and losing rankings almost like in real time. Seeing algho updates isn't unusual also. Really like that tool too

  • I have only ever been able to find out when Moz crawled the site by finding the information in the crawl report. If a crawl report was generated then the information should be on the report. If you can't see it on the site, download the CSV file and it will appear within the first 5 rows of the spreadsheet. If no crawl report was generated and you have a campaign set up, the information will also be within the campaign inside of Moz Pro.

  • Greenstone, How do your customers differentiate between stores? Use whatever language they use. So for example, you could name the pages sunshine-rd-ice-cream or a rte-13-ice-cream. That's how I'd do it. I'd also customize title and description tags, and include a keyword-named photo of each shop (with corresponding alt tags) and an embedded map showing it's location. That's another way to ensure the content of each page is unique b/c that will need to be the case. You could talk about the most popular flavors per location, or the busiest times (in case site visitors are trying to avoid crowds or alternatively, seeking them out). D
