SEO for Career sites and sup-pages
Well they are not being closed because they are being fullfilled but becasue that is the period the client sets to receive CVs. They want more CVs but for that they need more SEO visibility and I thought black hat could work for a short lived link.

Directories and Search Engine Site Submissions and Technorati Tags Important?
Hi. I dont have such a list. But last time I checked it was about 3 or 4 directories while additionaly adding directories that are relevant to your country, city and niche. Try , JoeAnt, Yahoo and BUsiness.com (do check PA and DA) As for article and forum sumissions, I think it is a waste of time adn quite dangerous. As for social bookmarking, it can be helpful if done manually but dont count too much on it. All the best.

Having problems adding a FB business page without the parent page.
To my knowledge, you have to connect a business page to a personal page. That personal page acts as a business page manager.

One page hit with 10K no follow spam links, should we disavow?
Hello, 1. DONT PANIC! 2. Why not all of the above? As you've mentioned no-follow means no worries but if you are worried and want to sleep better you can add them to the disavow tool. You can also work on getting the links removed from the website so it won't show up in tools like open site explorer etc. as for other action you could try to work out WHY but good luck with that. Over time it happens to sites so don't sweat it too much it won't hurt any rankings most search engines respect no-follow so deal with it in a way that will make you feel better. Hope that helps and good luck

How to implement three languages with a subfolder /blog on a .com domain?
The ideal should be maintaining the same structure of the site, hence /en/blog. Said that, if that is not possible (i.e.: different cms for the site and the blog), using the other solution (blog/de/, blog/nl/...) would be fine.

How do I control the "link-tree" part of the SERP results?
Hi Daniel, These are known as Sitelinks. Please read this page: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/47334?hl=en Point to note here is that you can demote up to 100 URLs, and demotions are effective for 90 days from your most recent visit to the Sitelinks page in Webmaster Tools. Regards

Ranking of Travel Sites in SERPs
The underlying thing is that they are the few sites that are doing it, so in the absence of a better option, Google shows these sites instead. Think of ehow.com or ask.com, they don't provide a great experience to the user, but you will notice on those types of searches, there are not any better options out there. When I say dynamic, I don't mean it as it is created on the fly. The URL has parameters that the server sees and knows to fetch the corresponding city from the server. I am not 100% positive, but from past experience I am willing to bet there is some kind of auto-fill tag like %CITY% that the server will plug in the city from the URL parameter. The rest of the copy never changes Example: http://www.travelsite.com/flights-from-boston-to-new-york-bos-to-lga Copy on page: blah blah blah Boston to New York blah blah blah. If you were to change either of the cities the copy would remain the same but the city would update. Crawlers will crawl the page after it has loaded, so as long as the "dynamic" content is loaded prior to that the crawler doesn't know any different. If my memory serves pages only need to be 5-10% different in copy to not be counted as duplicate content. So if your title, H1 and a few words in the sentence and some links are different that just about does it. Now this doesn't make it a great user experience and as StreamMarket stated below, eventually Google will take notice of this and will move them down in ranking. Of course, this also means that other sites (Airlines) need to do a better job at creating pages like this but are user focused and not search engine focused.

Designed by Backlink - Where to?
Hi there, I'd recommend keeping these links going to the homepage of your website and not worrying about commercial anchor text. It should be the name of your company as the anchor text and going to the homepage. This may seem very cautious but I've seen these links cause issues over the last couple of years so it's worth being careful. I'd agree with you that the value of these is pretty low and I'd echo what Dennis says below re not making this the only way that you get inbound links. I hope that helps! Paddy
