What percentage of my links should be directory links

I feel a lot of my link building might be a bit heavy on the directory links side. Should I limit the percentage amount of links as a part of my overall link profile? If yes what percentage of links is ok to be directory links?

I don't set a percentage of links, but more how much time I am willing to spend. Directories take less time, but are often not as important. Try 20% of your time working on directories and 80% working on other links.

So, i just maked some competitive analyse, and one of tham have a PR6 and PA&DA 65 ..

This domain, have 1231 backlinks from 1232 different directories.

So, for a fast ranking, you must place some inboundlinks with a right anchor-text from any strong website PR6,PR7,PR8, with a  PA 70  and DA 70 or more, than you will see the effects in 3-4hours to max. 3-4 days or 1week. But sometimes in 12 hours.

And, if you have enough time, you can invest every day on 2 strong directories, and you have about 50backlinks for a month from directories, it need money,and time, but with this kind of backlinks you increase the domain authority, and avoid the spam.
