Strange situation, I can't understand why you have Chinese sitelinks wher default language is english (and searching in Google from Italy I find the right translate link from EN to IT...)
However, I'd suggest removing the actual chinese ones frog GWT and building some links towards the correspondent english pages.
my 2 cents...

I would suggest that you goto GWT and do the follwing things.
Add all your regional website and set geo targeting in GWT.
That can be found in site configuration>settings.
Let Google know that its indexing the wring versions.
Sitelinks can be removed from the GWT itself in the site configuration link itself under the submenu sitelinks.

More over, if Google thinks other pages could be shown as Sitelinks, it will present them to you in the same submenu page. maybe it is showing you also possible sitelinks in english.

Guys,
Thank you for your suggestions, but the sitelinks in GWT appear in English and refer to the correct pages - this is not the issue.
We can change the GEO setting on GWT to US but that is not the ideal solution as it relates to country preferences - not language.
saibose - there are no regional websites - only one domain in multiple languages
Any other ideas? How would you notify Google about this issue?
Tomer.

are you sure that you havent been logged in and are seeing searches which are not personalized?

Yes I am sure. You can see for yourself.
Still no resolution to this problem...

A month later, I did a search for nybox on Google, and I'm seeing the sitelinks in English. Did you figure out what caused the Chinese and did you do something to fix it, or did it just happen to fix iteself?
