Build better links? Look a decrease of 3 points from 16 to 13 isn't that bad. In the end, that just means that Moz either picked up on a few less links of high authority or that the overall playing field that you're in outperformed you a little bit. I would focus on building better links versus trying to solve for the links that you already have.

The only caveat to that is, if you have build really bad links in the past than you likely want to revisit that strategy and potentially look into disavowing them.

          Hi there,

As Martijn has said, I wouldn't worry too much about th DA drop from 16 to 13, there are a range of factors that can affect DA and they're not all within your control.

One thing to note in addition is that if you do use the disavow tool from Google to tell them about bad links, this isn't connected to Moz which means that your DA may still go up or down. The disavow tool is good to use if you have links which are clearly bad and that you want to tell Google about, but Moz will not factor this into their DA score.

          Hope that helps!

          Paddy

            • We're looking at providing SEO for a website that has the majority of its incoming links from websites created solely to provide links. Few have bad spam rankings. How worried should I be about those links?
