Client seats not restricted to their campaign?
-
Do I understand correctly that in the future, we'll be able to assign a seat to a client who can then only see their specific campaign, but currently that is not available?
I just created my account and was just about to tell clients that they could see their campaigns, but decided to read about it first.

Hi Rob! Kristina from Moz's Help Team here.
Multiseat is a feature of Moz Pro which allows a subscription owner to fully share their campaigns, tools, and subscriber benefits (like special Q&A access) with others by assigning “seats.” All seats have full access to the Moz Pro subscription features. However, only you, the owner can:
- View or update the account’s Billing and Subscription information
- Assign seats
- Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel the subscription
- Delete campaigns
If you’d like to try out Multiseat now, visit your 'Manage Seats' page to add a seat to your account!
Unfortunately, there's currently no way to limit the access of seats on your account to certain campaigns. So, each additional user would have unfettered access to view every campaign within the account, though it's definitely a piece of functionality we're considering down the line.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions about the wide world of seats!

Yes, thank you.
So no need for me to create seats then until the functionality to restrict a seat to a campaign is created then. -
Does Moz consider this (crippling restriction) a good thing? Are they working on a fix?

Giving access to all campaigns is not really a feature is it? I can see why MOZ will not implement the campaign restriction feature - clients will terminate their individual MOZ accounts and share their agency's account. Still, it will be useful to find out what MOZ team's view. Is campaign limiting for user seats a planned feature?

It has been a year since this was posted. Is there any update on a feature to limit seat access to specified campaigns?

I guess often greed can be counterproductive. This questions has been asked for years with the same silent treatment. I would have offered my 100+ clients a service upgrade years ago (with access to individual campaigns for extra say $15 a month, most would be thrilled at such opportunity) possibly bringing 100+ campaigns to MOZ. As it is, with current limitations, i'm just using MOZ occasionally to do some research on client's requests. Everyone looses.
