Bit.ly links - SEO benefit

Can someone tell me if it useful to share this URL --> http://bit.ly/Oh_My_Beauty or should I use the original link https://www.ohmybeauty.gr. Still can't understand what is the difference. Why everyone sais that bit.ly urls are helpful.

Thanks for the advice on using URL shortners. I have a client who has been told they were great for SEO purposes which I thought was incorrect but needed to double check.

They certainly have a use though.

I think bitly links are dofollow and google count them ,so is not bad if we can make some redirects to our post and articles,for example  Diseño Web

Sure this is a perfect example of how bit.Ly has to be used. It's no longer dumb due to the fact you didn't use it for some search engine marketing cause. I saw bit.Ly sharing on Viber, WhatsApp, Telegram, electric fillet knife, or textual content messages. Because area there's restrained and sender searching out maximal efficient utilization of message.
