The Globe - Spam Link Network. Should action be taken to remove these links?

I'm noticing a huge increase in spammy links to websites I manage and many other websites I have check the backlinks for from "The Globe". These links are from a huge range of domains and subdomains relating to the Globe and to me, they look like 100% spam.

My concern is whether Google will find this actionable in the future. I've always avoided any form of black/grey hat SEO and these links concern me! Can we get a definitive answer on whether or not action is necessary as I cannot find any info directly from Google Webmasters to help.

We don't believe that these links are harmful and  we don't do anything about them.   We believe that Google knows that these domains are crap and ignore them in the rankings determination - although some of them might still appear in search console.
