I'm a Pro user but it says I only have a limit of 5 searches a day?!?!?!?! This is not a helpful new tool at all if I can't do more than 5 searches a day.

Hi Rachel,

Glad to hear this tool is not being retired.

Are there plans to introduce the ability to pinpoint the location you are searching from?  A "national" search result is a best-guess or estimate right? Doesn't Google use your latitude / longitude when deciding what results to display? Aren't all organic search results effectively localized (and personalized) now?

Speaking of local, I'm also wondering if there are plans to show local and featured search results. I want to be able to see if a business displays in the local three-pack, first ten expanded local, or as a featured search result. It's not super helpful if the tool tells me a business is ranking on page 2 or 3 of organic search results if they are, in fact, appearing on page 1 in the local search pack or as a featured snippet or answer box.

So, just wondering if that's something that's in the works or not. It would be really helpful!

Many thanks for the update!

Would be great to have a column with the previous rank (the value of the last checked) like in the previous version of the tool.

This functionality would save time because, in many cases, it wouldn't be necessary to display the position history.

Yes it is definitely a great way to check the rank of websites across any region. Great tool.
