Am I better off with ten links from one site or one link from ten sites?

I am writing a series of linked-back articles for a highly-ranked web publisher, but wonder if I'd be better off sharing the articles across different sites. My goal is to grow our domain authority and SEO rankings.

Hi Lysarden,
You ask a tricky question. 10 links form a high DA site is much better then 10 links from 10 different low domain authority sites. If you can get ten links from the highly ranked web publisher, do it, but also try to get the links from the 10 other sites as well. Having 20 links from a varied link profile is a good thing too.
Your focus should be on quality link building all together. If the ability is there to get a link, then by all means get it!
Thanks,
Don

I agree with you Donald, all depends of what kind of link are we talking about 10 links from wikipedia ( same site )are better than 10 links from blogs that nobody knows. In the other hands 10 reputable sites linking to your site such as wall street journal, national geographic or site like that are better than 10 links of wikipedia
