Advice on Video for Travel Website

Hello fellow SEOMOzzers

I am looking for advice regarding implementing video clips to promote Travel spots in South Africa for my website. My website is hosted in South Africa.

The key areas i am looking for advice on are:

1. Where to host my videos? On my website or a third party website eg Vimeo

2. Has anyone got any experience of using third party video hosting services and any recommendations?

3. From an SEO perspective is it better to host locally on my server or on a third party provider?

4. Any receommendations on software to use to edit my video clips and create a professional look and feel.

I'd highly recommend hosting your videos with Wistia.

The reason being is that with Wistia you can use your videos in your rich snippets for the SERPs.  This could increase the click rate of your results, as it will simply take up more real estate on screen.

Wistia is something I've used on sites before for this purpose - it's also what SEOMoz use for their Whiteboard Friday.
