Moz Point Swag

So, I've been away from the SEO world for a few years but now I'm back in full swing and I noticed I have enough points for "A special MozPoints t-shirt and a Roger vinyl figurine" but had never gotten those because I assume it must have become an added swag during my hiatus... but I'd absolutely love to get hold of that as my boss is a big Roger fanboy and it would be hilarious to have that on my desk as a friendly mocking.

If I can't, I can't. But I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

You're actually pretty close to the box of swag reward. I got mine a couple of months ago and it was filled with lots of really neat stuff (I got both a vinyl AND plushie Roger).

The rewards are handed out manually so it's not some automatic process. I'd get your 2k and wait a month or so. You should get an email asking where to send your swag.

I figured as much, which is fine. I can wait until the day I get the box. It would just be great to walk in and put down that Roger figurine and get my boss all jealous.

Our Community Manager goes through and manually reviews mozPoints about once a month, but the process timeline is not set in stone and it's all dependent on that manual review. As the mozPoints page mentions, these points are accrued for being a great Moz community member! It's fun, it builds a sense of community, and it encourages participation. It also helps those of us who author content for the blog to know whether our posts are valuable and/or interesting to our readers.
