We are a UK company with a .com domain If I search on google.co.uk site:mydomain.com we show for over 10,000 pages. If I select More tools to the right of web, images etc and click on this it shows more options including any Country. If I click on this an option called Country: The UK shows. If I click on this and enter site:mydomain.com none of my pages are listed, if I revert to any Country all of my pages show again. If I enter any site similar to mine under My UK they all show. Is there something that we are doing wrong?

I haven't actually seen a result where this doesn't show when you select UK.

Hello! If you want to specifically target the UK you can go into Google Search Console and set that country as your target location.  See full instructions here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/62399

What's likely happening currently since you're on a .com domain is that Google has yet to associate your site with UK only. You'll notice that when you select the country in search tools and then run a broader search, nearly all the results will be directly UK affiliated. Triggering this from search console should help the process along if it's something you'd like to do. Cheers!

Thank you for your reply, we ship Worldwide. Setting my site to UK only would limit my site in other Countries from what I can see, please correct me if I am wrong. My site is indexed with Google.co.uk it is not when I search via "the UK" from a sub menu

Hi John. Correct, your site is indexed with Google, and Google will distribute your site across its search portals, for example you can run the site search on Google Italy, Google Russia, and so on, but when you set the search to pull specific results from just the UK your site doesn't appear. It's still in Google, but what you're asking Google to do is show you only UK-based sites. You can do something similar with Italy here: https://www.google.it/#q=soccerbox.com changing 'Paese' to Italia.  Then the site:soccerbox.com search returns no results.

Another way to see this behavior is to go to Google Advanced Search where you can select 'region'. Here: http://www.google.com/advanced_search For the descriptor of that, Google states, "Find pages published in a particular region."  Since you're publishing globally instead of locally you won't appear when you search your domain plus a given region, like Australia, the UK, and so on.

It looks like Global results are your preference so everything looks to be working as intended. Cheers!
