Google authorship advanced search operators
-
Hi all,
Is there any way to advance search Google for blogs and other posts from a particular author?
For instance a particular query like 'authoris: "Joe Bloggs"' to return all blogs that have been contributed by that person based on their google authorship.
cheers,
David

Yes the author name can be a full name, partial name or email address. For example, author: rand fishkin restricts Google search results to pages about Rand. You may also specify a word in the query to return results of articles written by the author using that phrase. For example, castle rock author: Stephen King will return search results that contain the word “castle rock” written by Stephen King.

I believe you are looking for
inpostauthor:"author name"
It is not working too great right now but was previously. I don't think author:"Author Name" works.

Apart the answers given by Mike and William,
if you know the author, why aren't checking directly the blogger Google+ About Page.
There you can find the blog the blogger is contributing to (current and past contributor).
Saying this because just the sites listed there will be the ones obtaining the authorship (if the rel="author" has been correctly implemented on the web).
