The Moz Spam Score tells me my site has too few backlinks for such a large site. How many links per page would I need to not trigger this filter and stop appearing spammy?

Hello!
One of my sites is triggering the 'too few backlinks for large site' filter. I am wondering how many backlinks I need so as not to trigger this.
Many thanks for your help.

- The problem is not number of links....
- Problem is taking backlinks from spammy site consider spam score 4 also spam for me 2 is border line.
- Dont use same content for backlinking more than 3 times.
- Disavow links having spam score more than 3 in Google Webmaster

Many thanks for this reply. However the filter says specifically that I have too few links, it is very specific about this.

Howdy!
I spoke to one of the folks that worked directly on defining these spam flags, and they said that the calculations in this type of case are a bit too complex to pass along any sort of generalized guideline. So, the best thing that I can recommend would be to check out Rand's video about how to interpret Spam Score: http://moz.com/blog/understanding-and-applying-mozs-spam-score-metric-whiteboard-friday

I would recommend **not**disavowing links that have a spam score of more than 3 in Webmaster Tools.
In this video - http://moz.com/blog/understanding-and-applying-mozs-spam-score-metric-whiteboard-friday - Rand specifically says 'don't disavow links just because they have a spam score of 7 or 8'. He mentions a link disavowal issue that Cyrus Sheppard had that really hurt his site for a long time. Doing the disavowal for all links with a 3 could cause serious damage.
