Good idea? bad idea?

Hi guys
there's a campaign (which I am very passionate about) to save our village pub from being developed.
Now I have bought a domain name www dot SaveTheRoyalOak dot com
I've forwarded this domain to sussexchef.com/save-the-royal-oak
I'm using forward masking so the url remains save the royal oak,
I will contain the few pages to do with the pub so that the navigation bars are hidden so the site will pretty much look be it's own entity to the user.
this micro site will get hundreds of users and people linking to it,
My question is will this hurt my site at all? I'm guessing that when I ask people to link to it I should get them to "no follow" it to be on the safe side?
Thanks for your help
All the best
Ben

Google will most likely associate the mini site with Sussex Chef per their doc on frames: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/34445, but the content seems relevant and related to the site as a general theme so I don't see how it would hurt unless there are manipulative practices going outside of this setup.

Hi, thanks for your reply, what do you mean by manipulative practices going outside of this setup?
We will be advertising sponsors of the campaign on the Micro site, and getting them to like to the save the royal oak url, but will use no follow in both directions.
Thanks again

Right. It'd just be things like spammy links, paid links, the usual things that could get a site in trouble. Doesn't sound like you'll be doing any of that. Plus it seems like a good way for local people to get involved. Cheers!
