      Hi,

Say I am going after the keyword "example location". Is it better to have the Title say "Example Location" or can I say, "Example is the best in location" and still get the same keyword results?

What about "Example location, location, location", would each "location" carry with it the "example".

Hopefully that was not too confusing.

      Thanks,

        Hey Mike

"Example Location" would be my choice.

You could still rank for "Example Location" with the title "Example is the best in location" but on my experience exact match is a best option...

Another thing to keep in mind is how competitive "Example Location" is,  maybe "Example location" is too competitive than you might want optimize for a long tail keyword and keep building links so eventually you might rank for the most competitive keyword too.

This really depends on the context and how well the title flows. Would a title like "Real Estate in Santa Monica, LA, Santa Barbara and San Diego" accurately target the phrase [real estate san diego]? Not particularly well but a high quality website with great links could still rank for that query with such a title tag (although it would be far better for said imaginary website to structure its website differently to target each location, but this is just an example).

"Example Location" is probably the better choice, but again - it depends on the readability and relevancy to the page's content.
