I would not recommend either of them. From the looks of it the links they are promising are the kind of links that get a site penalized. While it might not get your site penalized doing them, to me if it were my own personal site i would risk it.

I would not recommend these, they are black hat link building strategies and even though they will get you links in the short term, they will also end with a penalty from Google. You need to build links naturally, it takes longer but is more beneficial in the long term.

There is no white hat or black hat SEO - there are only varying levels of risk tolerance. Trying to earn links naturally will take a long time, particularly for a new company, and sometimes new companies need rankings and sales right away and can't afford to wait (which basically everyone here forgets).

The link building plans you're looking at will likely have you ranking well very quickly, but Google could penalize you destroy those rankings just as quickly. If you're willing to risk it, you can get some of those links initially to rank, work on building high quality links in the background, then attempt to clean up those initial ones later on. It all comes down to risk vs. reward.

For being a link building service, neither of these sites have more than two linking root domains showing up in Open Site Explorer.

Both sites set off many alarm bells for me. In my personal opinion, you're going to spend a lot more money cleaning up after a service like this than you would for the service itself.

In looking at your site, I'd focus on your site first before worrying about links. What is it about your site that is different from other sites selling refurb computers? What do you have to offer your customers? Has your site ever been compromised (http://www.myeasypc.com/brands/Jimmy-Choo.html looks kind of odd).

That is pretty funny, a link building service that does not trust their own services.

Wow, you scared me about the site being compromised :). I checked and it's just remaining data from the template I purchased. I cleaned it up now. Will be adding my own brands later. Thanks for checking though. As you can tell, it's a brand new site and still needs to be optimized (tags etc) to be indexed properly.

Yes, now I see the term Grey Hat SEO popping up 🙂 lol.

I do agree that it's a balancing act... their approaches definitely seem too aggressive and may cause flags, but maybe if it's spread out on a longer time line and uses less duplication it might work?

Obviously, I will also be reviewing the quality of the content that's being published... so maybe if it's managed carefully, I can minimize the risks.

Is it a better use of your time and money to create the content yourself, or spend the time managing this firm?

A lot of the methods listed on both sites are fairly outdated. You may be interested in the moves that the press release sites themselves are making these days, such as today's post at http://www.seroundtable.com/google-panda-pr-newswire-changes-18770.html.

Alright... I can't argue with that... time to put my writing cap on and get working on some good content.

Thanks again for the honest feedback and keeping my away from these pitfalls.
