Twitter retweets - best practices

So, a fairly prominent organization used our company in a case study on their website. They mentioned us in a tweet and linked to the case study on their site.

I'd like to promote this to my own followers as well. Is it more appropriate to write a unique tweet mentioning the organization and linking to the case study, or should I just retweet their original tweet.

If I were you, I would just retweet that message. It kind of adds to the credibility.

If this were a case where someone had used SEOmoz in a case study, I would probably send a tweet something like "So Cool! Thanks @bigcompany for using us in this great case study: http://casestudy.com - Check it out!". But this is the "Moz voice" so obviously you should use your brand's voice. Alternatively if their tweet is short, you could RT and add your own message at the beginning, like "Wow, Thank you! RT @bigcompany This is a case study on xyz, bla bla bla http://url.com".
