Local search challenge with overlapping domains and confusing site ownership

Ugh, this is a messy situation.
Question, who owns the address at 8150 Leesburg Pike #920 Vienna, VA 22182?
If Farhounmand Dental is still there, you're in good shape. Just go to https://plus.google.com/101896681517714636105/about and request click on "is this your business?" follow the prompts and request a pin be sent to that address. Once confirmed, login and change the phone number and URL to the new phone number and URL.
If Farhounmand Dental is NOT at that address anymore, you are in a little bit of a pickle, especially if things are contentious with the other business, like it sounds.
In that event, you'll need to report a problem, just under "is this your business?" and report that the business has the wrong address, web site, etc. Then go in and create a new google +Local page for the Farhounmand Dental business. Might take some time but this will solve your problem in the long run.

Looking at the old, joint site, it appears both new dentistry practices are listed at the top of the page with patients being directed to the correct site for their doctor of choice. This to me seems an equitable solution for people landing on the old site.
For your Google search engine results, first I would clear up ownership of the Google+ account, and it appears this has already been done, though I can't tell who has what. If you don't have the Google+/Google Places ownership, then claim them, as I see the business address and phone numbers are the same. Then you'll be able to change the website to the new page for that address.
All social media links on the old page lead back to the Farhoumand Dental page rather than to the social media pages. Really, I think the Avanti owners of the old page are being fair and equitable in that page's management.
So now what you need to do is some SEO for the new site and wait. Farhoumanddental.com has a pagerank of one, and the newer two pages have no pagerank yet. When you're building a new site, it takes some time to earn pagerank, and the more time you put into updating your website, posting links on your Google+ page and social media sites, getting your address in proper directories and finding other inbound link opportunities, the sooner your pagerank will rise. Also, if the old site is no longer updated, it will sink as the new site rises. Make sure you've submitted your sitemap for the new site, but rather than worrying about the old site, focus on building the new.
One thing I would do also is go to getlisted.org and claim all the listings for the new business and if you can for the old ones as well. Then for the older ones I'd note on the listings that the business has closed and list both new ventures as on the current old site.

Thank you so much for the response! Farhoumand Dental are still in the same address and the G+ link you listed seems to be remnant from the early effort of the previous web designer, which is quite confusing because Farhoumand has a new G+ page which I created:
https://plus.google.com/u/0/112254978086381161698/about
It does seem that the old G+ page is the source for the contact information Google lists...
Thanks again!

Thank you, Sharla.
I appreciate your response and practical suggestions. I am indeed trying to go through the check list of SEO activities I need to do for them. I am not sure if the contact information Google lists is from the old site or from the old G+ page as I indicated in my response to the previous poster. Do you know if Google tends to scan information more from websites or from G+ pages?
Thanks in advance,
Mitko
P.S. Nice white hat

Do a search for Farhoumand Dental. At the bottom of the map inset on the right, click the link for claiming business ownership. They will verify via address/phone number, which is still the same for Farhoumand rather than Avanti. After you have properly claimed the business address, you should be able to change the website address to the new website. Google is going to get their information directly from you, via Google Places. Not sure if you can ask that the old Google+ page be taken down or not.
