Keyword difficulty percentage changes from day to day

First time caller, long time listener.

Just a quick query I hope.   Why do keyword difficulty percentages in the keyword difficulty report change drastically sometimes when the report is run from one day to another?   Thanks for your help.

To answer your question, the results change often for Keyword Difficulty because the algorithm is based on the other sites in the top results that the keyword is competing with. For example, a site other than your site goes down in rankings or Domain Authority, the Keyword Difficulty percentage would change because of this. There are several factors involved in the algorithm we use, but I find this the easiest way to explain it. Does this help?

I think I understand, so you're saying that say for example, one of the pages changed their meta description, or they got a couple more links pointed at them, then this would change the difficulty percentage?
