What CMS system are you using? If you are using Wordpress, you can use a plugin to help with canonical issues.

The example you gave is using the current page as the rel canonical.

This is harmless.

Note that rel canonical is given as a "Notice" by SEOmoz, not an error.  Rel canonical itself is not a bad thing.

@gmkrish I have installed yoast but how can it help in correcting the re-canonical issue. Please elaborate..
