PPC Management Software

I am currently running a campaign for a client that is in desperate need of assistance. We are spending 500 Euros per day and not getting the conversion we need to make it worth while. My question is, Does anyone know of, use , or have heard about some PPC management software that can help improve conversions?

I've heard a lot of buzz about Marin and Acquisio. Personally we like using the Google adwords editor for the adwords campaigns and reviewing the campaigns manually.

It sounds like you need an experienced PPC manager to audit it, not PPC management software.  Assuming it's a search campaign, there are a variety of things you can look at:

• location targeting
• device targeting
• dayparting
• audit keywords
• audit search query report
• audit quality scores
• performance of ad extensions you're using
• Google search vs. search partners performance
• ad position performance
• etc...

Find where the money is going and not converting, and plug the hole.

Check out Syracusa, which is currently in beta, and free to try. It's operated by Forward, a pretty large internet marketing company based in London, and as I understand it, is something of a 'lite' version of the PPC tools they use in-house.

I've been putting it through it's paces for a couple of months (for a friend's local business), and am pretty impressed with things so far. It generates actionable advice which really does seem to help improve the efficacy of campaigns.

I use The WordStream PPC Advisor SAS program. It manages your Goggle Adwords and Bing AdCenter Accounts.

It has a great knowledge base that explains how to build effective ads. Of course if the website's content or landing pages aren't up to snuff, conversions may still be hard to come by.

I second the Wordstream suggestion. It's a little pricey--$300 per month--but it works extremely well and will almost definitely save you more than $300 per month, so it pays for itself.

You can try their AdWords Performance Grader for free and it will tell you where you're going wrong. A few days after that, one of their staff usually gives you a call and offers additional suggestions.

I have been playing with the wordtream trial version. VERY cool. Comprehensive and intuitive. I didnt even have to give a credit card to start it, I highly recommend doing the trial at the very least. Already implemented some of the suggestions. FOr example, it recommended a bunch of negetive keywords which I would not have even thought of by analyzing the data. very cool

OH WAIT, $400 per month!? Ugh. not sure I can get the budget for that. Is there something else like it for a more reasonable price?
