MozRank in Open Site Explorer?
-
Hi,
I wondered why mozRank is not showing in OSE? As this is the "equivalent" of Google's page rank?
Thanks

- It is not the equivalent of Google's Pagerank. http://www.seomoz.org/learn-seo/mozrank
- In OSE, look under "Compare Link Metrics" tab when exploring a specific URL.

Thanks for the response.
It does say "MozRank is very similar in purpose to the measures of static importance (which means importance independent of a specific query) that are used by the search engines (e.g., Google's PageRank)".
Also I should of explained myself better I meant mozRank of inbound links not the specific URL I am exploring.
Thanks

Hi Callie,
Thanks for the question. It sounds like you're wondering why we don't show MozRank in the inbound links section. If that's not correct, please let me know.
As for why it's not there, we chose to show the Page and Domain Authorities to give you a brief snapshot of the pages that are linking to you. If you need to view MozRank for links you'll want to click the icon for "Compare" and that will show you the specific metrics for the page that links to you.
Here's a screenshot of where to find that button: http://www.screencast.com/t/rGz9HUuabRe
I hope that helps clear that up.
Cheers,
Joel.
