Can anyone help me with a problem Im having with my Google Places Page?

My google places page is pulling up the wrong location for my business. It's pulling up an old location of ours that does not exist any longer. The old page has been deleted completely. So im not sure where it's pulling the information, and this is hurting our business pretty significantly. If anyone knows anything I can do please point me in the right direction. Thank you so much.

The fact that you're saying the incorrect/old listing has been deleted is puzzling. How long has the incorrect listing been deleted/suspended?

I'm assuming you've created a new listing with the proper information, correct?

Have you taken an inventory of all of your online citations and ensured the incorrect listing info no longer exists on directory sites?

Have you tried contacting Google?

Google places can be a real pain. try deleting your old listing. This will require you verify the listing with a postcard or pin.

Once this is a done, start a new listing. Not ideal as you'll have to start from scratch.

Otherwise contact Google they are quite helpful with these kinds of problems

Yes, everything from the listing that has been deleted is gone. That address doesn't exist anywhere for our business.

The listing that is 'suppose' to be showing up has been running on my google places for almost 4 years now. So for this to happen now is strange. Im at a loss of what to do. Our business phone hasn't rang in two days since this happened so im scrambling really bad. I need to figure out the solution and figure it out fast.

Hi Casey,

Google is definitely pulling the information from somewhere. Have you done a google.com search and maps.google.com search for your old address and old phone number to see if you can pull up any old duplicates or any 3rd party citations that are still listing your old information?

I agree with fidelity on this - I would start a thread at the Google And Your Business Forum to report this ASAP, but I would do so prior to deleting anything in the record. Good luck!
