Dumb Google Places Problem
-
Just when you thought that google was smart, they prove you wrong!
I added a Google Places entry for a dentist friend. I think it looks good, but there is a big problem. The name of his practice is the name of the street he is in, and that street is the name of the capital city of another state.
You already know what's coming next!
Google is displaying his entry to people in that other state and city, but not in the city he is in, even though I set up the City correctly in Places.
Now what do I do? Anyone seen this problem before? How did you overcome it?

According to Google's, Ways to correct my local business listing to correct your business name, "If your business name isn't showing up correctly, edit the listing in your Google Places account. Verifying your listing allows you to personalize your business’s Place Page with custom fields, photos & videos, posts, and more."
Depending on whether you have already verified the listing saying you are the business owner or if you just edited it for a local business the instructions may vary slightly.
Hope this helps.
