When I can place the Google Analytics javascript code in my web pages?

My site is still under development and can be access only through a local host, not in the domain yet. When I should add the code from Google Analytics to my website? after or before launch?

There's no harm at all in doing it before launch, so I would do it now.  That way, when you do go live, you're capturing 100% of the data without any delay.  If you create any new subsequent pages you can then also add as you go, rather than piling on the work.

Yes good idea to add code before going live.  Worth creating two views (profiles) one where you filter out the local hostname (domain) traffic and the other where you only include the live hostname traffic. This means you won't mistake testing traffic for real traffic.  Let me know if you need any other help on doing that.
